Secchieta mountain

Mount Secchieta is one of the peaks of Pratomagno mountain range, its maximum height reaches 1500 meters and separates the valley of the Casentino with that of the  Valdarno Superiore, with a 360° view with truly amazing views.

It is easily reached by car through a winding road that from our hotel leads to the ridge with a route of about 8 km, you can also get there through various very suggestive paths, to walk or mountain bike, which wind in the forest, between beech and fir trees.

From the ridge of Mount Secchieta you can easily reach the Foresta di Sant'Antonio, with equipped areas such as that of Macinaia, or bivouacs where you can also sleep, such the "Capanna delle Guardie".

On the border is also located "Rifugio di Secchieta" where you can make a stop to taste fabulous stuffed crushed and homemade cakes.
